About your first driving lessons

Bring your provisional driving licence and if you wear glasses bring them too.

On your first driving lesson you will understand the main controls of the car and practice stopping and starting at the side of the road at a location away from main traffic. After some practice we will move onto easy roads and continue to develop your driving skill.
The aim of the first driving lesson is for you to become comfortable behind the wheel, know what the controls do and how to use them. If it is possible you can drive back home pulling up outside!

You will have your own student record book that is yours to keep and will track your progress so you can see clearly what you have achieved and what needs to be achieved before booking your test.

Driving is demanding and requires a lot of concentration, so it is a good idea to find some quiet time before your first lesson.
